Boycott Bookmans Used Bookstores

If you live in Arizona please boycott used books and music store chain Bookmans. I have uncovered evidence that the store’s management supports the Sonoran Science Academy. The school chain reportedly has ties with Fethullah Gulen who is a Sufi cleric nick named the Turkish Khomeini in which he is associated with Turkey’s powerful Islamist AKP Party.

The store chain is notoriously leftist in it’s politics. Bookmans commemorates Earth Day and (despite their opposition to censorship) have previously kicked out groups who disagreed with them on certain issues (such as global warming). The stores used to provide community rooms for free on a first come, first serve basis to local clubs regardless of ideology. While Bookmans has a right to call the shots as to what goes on on their property, it is intellectually dishonest for them to state they oppose censorship but will not even allow the presence of groups that do not subscribe to the company’s leftist dogma.

Earth Day’s Anti-Human Message

With Earth Day coming up I think its important to reflect on the true meaning of it and the movement that has brought the issues surrounding Earth Day to the forefront.

The first Earth Day was a conference organized by Wisconsin U.S. Senator Gaylord Nelson and held in Seattle, Washington during September, 1969. The event was a teach in geared towards organizing a grassroots movement to bring the environment to the forefront of public policy.

However, Earth Day and the message behind it is anything but a day geared towards saving the planet. If one really looks at the logic behind it, one will see Earth Day and environmentalism are geared towards the destruction of human life and motivated by the purest evil. Small wonder that April 22nd is also the same day that communist leader Vladimir Lenin was born in. It is a fact that when the Soviet Union collapsed, Communists looked for a different vehicle in which to achieve their goal of international collectivization in which many folded into environmental organizations to do so. Rather than sacrificing mankind to the state, nature would be the new vehicle to collectivize the globe.

Former Greenpeace founder Patrick Moore said it best when he said:

I think one of the most pernicious aspects of the modern environmental movement is the romanticization of peasant life. And the idea that industrial societies are the destroyers of the world. The environmental movement has evolved into the strongest force there is for in the developing countries. I think it’s legitimate for me to call them anti-human.

The apocalyptic message behind environmentalism is no different than such doom-and-gloom messages by religions and has been consistent since Earth Day’s first public event held in New York City on April 22nd 1970.

Reason magazine science and technology columnist Ronald Bailey in a column published in April 2000 to commemorate Earth Day’s thirtieth anniversary pointed out that apocalyptic predictions about the environment were made when the first Earth Day was held during the 1970′s.

Fortunately, time has shown that these and other white coated, alarmist priests of the green movement were proven wrong.

One need look only at the book that laid the groundwork for the environmentalist movement, The Silent Spring, and its author, Rachel Carson. As a result of the lies perpetrated by Carson via her book about DDT which lead to world-wide bans on the usage of this pesticide, millions of people have been stricken ill or died of malaria.

The lies and manipulations on the part of environmentalists continue to this day with their false claim that human activity is the reason for global warming. As a result, environmentalists, businesses and like-minded politicians perpetuate the lies about climate change by claiming to do something about it.

The whole history of mankind is the result of man being able to use his mind and productive efforts to improve his situation. As a result, we have the wealth and prosperity many Western countries, like the United States, enjoy.

Rather than celebrate Earth Day on April 22nd celebrate your life in rejection to what this day, Earth Hour and environmentalist movement ultimately stand for: the destruction of human life, industry and civilization itself.
